Dear Blogosphere,

Hello ladles and jellyspoons, my name is Clare and here are 5 things you should know about me:
1)I'm twenty-one

2) I took French Studies and Spanish & Latin American Studies at The University of Sydney (Australia). Now I'm going to graduate in 2012!

3) I love to bake. Some days I think I have to be a patissier. Well, most days.

4) I'm prone to absent mindedness.

5) I have a penchant for collecting pyrex and unloved vintage teacups...unloved things in general

This blog was started to keep my family & friends back home informed of my studenty adventures in Spain and Europe, whilst I'm on exchange from December 2010 to July 2011...and, well, it seems it is going to go beyond that.

There's a lot in the blog about food, a plethora of observations about various travels and lovely people, a spot of absent minded jotting and a tad of pining for home.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and comments.
